Welcome to R + T Photography!
These Terms & Conditions govern all photography services provided by R + T Photography. By booking a session or event, you agree to the following terms:
1. Booking & Retainer
A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to secure your session or event date. Dates are not held without both.
The retainer amount will be applied toward your total balance.
2. Payment
The remaining balance is due prior to or on the day of the session/event unless otherwise agreed upon.
Accepted payment methods may include cash, check, or electronic payment (such as Venmo). Payment plans may be offered at the photographer’s discretion.
Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation or withholding of images.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Retainers are non-refundable but may be transferred to a new date if rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
In the event of illness, emergency, or unsafe weather conditions, R + T Photography reserves the right to reschedule.
If the client cancels entirely, all payments made are non-refundable.
4. Session Experience
R + T Photography provides a guided, natural approach to posing and capturing moments. Clients understand that results are influenced by factors including cooperation, weather, lighting, and timing.
5. Image Delivery
Final edited images will be delivered via an online gallery.
Turnaround time is typically within [insert timeframe, e.g., 2–4 weeks for sessions, 6–8 weeks for weddings], but may vary during busy seasons.
RAW/unedited images are not provided.
6. Editing & Style
Clients acknowledge that they are familiar with the photographer’s editing style and agree that images will be edited at the photographer’s discretion. Additional editing requests may incur extra fees.
7. Copyright & Usage
R + T Photography retains full copyright to all images.
Clients receive a personal-use license, allowing them to download, print, and share images for personal use. Images may not be altered, edited, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
8. Model Release
Unless otherwise requested in writing, R + T Photography reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.
9. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Arriving on time
Communicating any specific requests in advance
Obtaining permission for shoot locations if required
Ensuring all participants are prepared and cooperative
10. Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, loss of files, or unforeseen circumstances beyond control, liability is limited to the return of payments made.
R + T Photography is not responsible for missed moments due to client delays, restrictions, or interference from guests or venue staff.
11. Force Majeure
R + T Photography shall not be held liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, emergencies, or government restrictions.
12. Gallery Storage
Final galleries are available for a limited time. Clients are responsible for downloading and backing up their images. Long-term storage is not guaranteed.
13. Agreement
By booking services with R + T Photography, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
